: I adopted what I think is a jrt. But I havent seen another dog that looks like my Tobie. He has short smooth hair a short cropped tail and is tri colored. He looks just like a jrt with the exception of coat and tail. Is there such a breedof jrt's?

Without seeing the dog it is hard to tell what it is. There are many pictures on this site that you can look through to see if any are like yours.
