Question:

: I recused my JR about 2 1/2 years ago. He has bee a wonderfull dog until now. We estimate his age around 5 . In the past 2 month he has tried to bite people he ahd been friendly with in the past. He goes after people shoes, kind of bit my wife in the ankle. Tied to bite her face when she bent down to kiss me. Won't let anyone come near me. If find this odd to happen all of a sudden? do I need to take him to a behaviorist? I am firm and correct him every time this occurs. He hangs his head knowing he has done somthing bad but a day later he is back to his old trick. I am very trouble with this guy. I feel he is a disaster waiting to happen.

The first thing I would do is have him checked by your Vet to make sure that there is nothing medically wrong with him. Then, yes please find a trainer/behaviorist to help you with this problem. Aggression like this can't be dealt with on a message board and you will need to work with a professional on a one on one basis.
Good Luck
