Question:

: I have a female jack that has just entered "standing heat" and a male that is bodering on insanity. Out of necessity, I have separated them and he is going ballistic (I probably would too). Are there any recommendations as to how to calm the male down? He can smell her and will bark, pace and whine at 4:00am and no one in the neighborhood can sleep. I would have them both spayed/neutered but we are going to breed them on her next cycle for the second and last time. Please help :)

Hi Steven,
How about boarding him with your vet for a few days, or sending him on a little vacation to a friend's that you trust?
