lazy jack

Is it possible to havea lazy jack. We have 2, a 4 y.o girl and 1.5 y.o boy. The girl LIVES for ball. All we do is play ball, day and night and if she can't find her ball we will throw anything she can find. She loves fetch. However, Max isn't as excited about fetch. he would much rather sit down and chew and a galileo bone. he is very content. We try to get him to play fetch and every once in a while he will, but he would rather hang out on the couch. He is healthy and gets exercise. He just isn't as hyper as his sister. Is this normal? If there is such a thing!! Thanks.
