Suddenly Urinating in the House at Age of 7

I have a 7-year old, neutered male JR that suddenly starting urinating in the house after being house trained since he was a 1-year old. I believe that he only urinates in the bathroom (near the toilet) or in the kitchen - at least he's not going on a carpeted area. He has access to the outdoors at all times through a dog door and I regularly take him to a nearby park to play 'fetch the tennis ball.' When I discover his messing, I let him know of my displeasure and he seems fully aware of what he has done and that it is a bad thing. What is going on here, and how might I correct this behavior? Thanks for your assistance.
