registration questions

Question:

I have reserved a puppy from a first time breeder. I have seen both parents.(not owned by same person). They are both correct in size and color. I have read all the registration requirements. When it says supply a pedigree and stud certificate does that mean that parents must be registered?? What should the breeder supply me with?? He does not know? Does the pedigree show...out of Texas by Trailer??? Do Texas & Trailer need registration numbers?
