All I can say to you, is clean up, pick up and don't leave something on the floor that your dog can get in his mouth. If you do this then you aren't going to have to chase him, or figure out a way to punish him. Just remember, if it is on the floor then it is fair game, and it isn't the dog fault it is yours for not putting your things in the proper place.
