Question:

: I had a couple of Jack Russell Terriers. The male is 4 years and the female is 1 and 1/2. Last September they had puppies. My little daughter has choosen a female for her. Since some time ago the mather became very aggresive with the little one. I really don't know what to do as my daughter really loves her pet and doesn't want to see her leaving, but at the same time she is very afraid of any damage. The mother had her last menstruation early this february, and since them she's been even more aggressive. She loves my husband and doesn't accept the little one near him. She always tries to beat her neck. The mother as well as the little one show strong character.
: What can we do to solve this problem and keep both of them with us.

Please try our search engine before posting, this is same sex aggression. There isn't much you can do but seperation of the dogs, this isn't going to get better only worse, and we have posted this many many times.
When adding another dog to your home, you must be willing to keep them seperate if adding the same sex. I wish I had a cure all for all of this but I don't, and there really isn't one but keeping them seperated.
