Question:

: I have reserved a puppy from a first time breeder. I have seen both parents.(not owned by same person). They are both correct in size and color. I have read all the registration requirements. When it says supply a pedigree and stud certificate does that mean that parents must be registered?? What should the breeder supply me with?? He does not know? Does the pedigree show...out of Texas by Trailer??? Do Texas & Trailer need registration numbers?

You will need a 4 generation pedigree and a stud certificate from the breeder of the puppy, if she can't supply this to you then you will need to find another breeder. IMO Yes the parents should both be registered, if they aren't then I would ask Wy they aren't registered. I would also ask if the parents are BAER and CERF Tested and I wouldn't buy a puppy if the parents aren't tested.
Hope this helps you.
