Habit of putting her toy under furniture

My Jack Russell has a habit of putting her toys under our night stands,dressers,tables and couches. She will get it stuck and proceed sometimes destructively to get to it. Do you have any suggestions how I can curtail this destructive and annoying behavior. She appears to be doing this on purpose for the challenge of trying to retreive it..
