Sudden fear of family and surroundings

Question:

We have a 7 month old female JRT (Maggie)which we acquired a month ago from friends. She adjusted very well, but a few days ago our daughter accidently knelt on the Maggie's paw, which caused obvious pain. Now Maggie avoids our daughter, or yelps, rolls over and urinates when she is approached by her.

What is happening here, and how can we overcome this behavior? Thanks
