Jack Rusell Hair Question?

Question:

Hi,

I am interested in purchasing a Jack Russell Terrier, and the breeder I am looking into has puppies that were bred with a Broken coated father and smooth coated Mother.

Is there any way to tell by looking at the puppies if they will be smooth or broken?

I would really rather a smooth coat, but was wondering how to tell?
