| Question: : I am about to get a JR so what i would like to know is are JR's very hard to train? because some people say yes others no but i would like your opinion. : Thanks! ------------------ Response Area ------------------- Hi, Kelly, It REALLY depends on the dog and how he/she is bred. Some JRTs are very head strong and some are eager to please. You need to be very careful when selectng your terrier. You also will need to be prepared for the worst case scenario and committed to your terrier if you get one. Bad Dog Talk, Jack Russell Profiler Jack Russells are mostly very independent dogs. If you want a cute little dog that acts like a lab, this is not the breed for you. Good luck reaching your decision. Jane |
