eating grass, leaves, and twigs

My Jack, Peanut always goes outside to do her bussiness. After she is done she likes eating on grass, leaves, and sticks? Is it bad for her and should I continue to try and stop her. Also what is a good rule of thumb in disciplne to teach her what not to do, ie bite, claw at furniture? Thanks for the help.
