my dog has pneumonia

This is the first time my JRT has ever been sick in his life. He is is almost 2 years old now and is very enegetic. We went to a couple of offleash parks this week where he got pneumonia from one of the dogs. The vet gave him a needle shot and some pills to take for the next week or so. He is not allowed to be in contact with any other dogs for the next 4-5 days.

My questions are: Can I do anything else at home to make his week a little more pleasant? Should I still excercise him regularly? Should I keep him warm all the time? He looks very cold, distressed, and tired from the medication.
