We're moving..

Question:

We are moving into a new home with our Jack in a few weeks. The home's current owners have an outside dog, a black Lab. I am wondering if there is something we need to do to the yard before we let our dog roam. I am not sure the current owners take as good of care of their dog as I do mine, and I don't want any surprises. I will be sure to treat her for fleas before we move, but anything else that you might suggest. We will have an acre of land for our Jack, Kasey; she is so spoiled. Thanks!
