Hi,

I think the word you're looking for is the vulva as opposed to urinary tract? If your dog is not spayed, might she be in heat? It's really impossible to tell you whether you should be concerned about this or not. It would be wisest to consult with a vet. I'm a HUGE alarmist and I'm off to the vet for the slightest thing. My friends are still laughing about the time I brought Gritty to the vet nearly in tears because he was shaking and his abdomen was sore to the touch. After x-raying Gritty's abdomen, the vet informed me that Gritty had a really bad case of... gas.

But enough about me :o) See your vet if you suspect a medical problem. Always be safe and you'll never be sorry!
