thin JRTPosted by: Susan KimPosted on: May 29, 2001 at 13:33:43

| Question: I have had my 5-year-old male JRT for nearly a year now. He gets alot of exercise, has a voracious appetite, and is a happy boy. But he's so thin! My neighbor jokingly calls him "Bones" because you can see all his ribs. If I feed him more, he just poops more. My vet said his body is in great shape and he's just built that way -- but the vet also suggested that it wouldn't hurt to try some higher protein dogfoods. I have tried some different brands but they had no effect. Do you recommend any certain brand? Or at this point should I just let "Bones" be the way he is?
