Getting Another

Question:

I have a male Jack Russell Terrier and I am thinking about getting another one, but I don't know if I should get a male or a female. I heard that 2 males don't get along and a female tends to have a favorite person in the family. I want one that will get along with my dog I have now but that will also get along with everyone in the family. My Jack Russell that I have now is neutered.
