Question:

: I have a male Jack Russell Terrier and I am thinking about getting another one, but I don't know if I should get a male or a female. I heard that 2 males don't get along and a female tends to have a favorite person in the family. I want one that will get along with my dog I have now but that will also get along with everyone in the family. My Jack Russell that I have now is neutered.

Hi Susanna,
There are tons of posts and info in the FAQs on this issue. Please use the search engine to find them. Same sex aggression is a serious issue, and when getting a second dog there are no guarantees that all your "list of needs" above will be met. Please select your breeder or rescuer carefully so you can be sure of the dog's temperment.
