My JRT goes nuts over the vaccum

Help!

My JRT is about 7 months old now and he's a great little dog. He really only does one bad thing; he constantly chases the vaccum cleaner. Whenever anyone is vaccuming, he barks constantly and follows the end of it with his nose. If he sees the vaccum, even if it's not on, he will sit beside it and bark at it for a very very long time. When we try to hide it from him, he searches around the house until he finds it.
