| Question: Hi Heather - My vet will run allergy tests, which are quite expensive, but that will find out what the dog is allergic to. I was lucky, eliminated corn and bingo! He is fine. I have a friend who's JR is very allergic to grass, etc. which you really can't avoid. She is in the process of giving her shots each day to de-sensitize her. In the end, the hope is to eliminate the allergies. This person needs to find a vet who will run allergy tests on the dog. To me, using prednisone is the easy way out. Thanks for letting me pass along a comment. Keep up the great work. We all REALLY APPRECIATE your hard work - ALL of you reps.
