| Question: : is there any allergen-free biscuit products? I read about Clifornia Natural and Hills Z/D kibbles. but what about when giving biscuit treats? I do not wish to undo my effort in giving the wrong treats but the right kibbles. ------------------ Response Area ------------------- Some treats I give my terriers are Charlee Bear Dog Treats and Tia Chips. The ingredients in Charlee Bear treats are all natural with no preservatives, however they do use wheat flour. These treats (liver or cheese & egg) are very small and great for training. There is no indication though they are hypo-allergenic. The Tia Chips are all organic. There is no wheat, corn or soy used, and also no preservatives or additives. These come in several flavors Oaty, Barley and my guys' fav..Nutty. The nutty is made with peanut butter barley flour, oat flour, spelt flour, millet flour and alfalfa. They have a website you can visit at www.tiapetfoods.com Tia chips were made for the owner's dog that suffered from allergies so this is one you might want to check out. Because the Charlee Bear treats are made with wheat flour you may not find that one to your liking although I have to say the Cheese & Egg flavor tastes pretty good haha! I get these items at Cherrybrook although I don't know if they offer them in the catalog or on-line but you can check at www.cherrybrook.com Maybe some of the other rep's have other treats they can tell you about. Hope this helps! |
