Question:

: Is arthritis a common condition in Jack Russell's? I have a 2 year old just diagnosed with this problem, he is a papered dog. He also has the problem in which his front paws curve in at the wrist area and his feet turn out. It seems it's just recently (in past 6 months) that his front legs have turned that way. I'm just wondering if this is common to this breed or more a freak thing with this particular dog.

: Thank you

No this is not commonly seen in the breed. Most Jack Russells have straight legs please see the Breed Standard for help. Since your dog has what we call bench legs from your discription, this may be the problem. I would suggest to talk to your Vet about this also.
Hope this helps you
