fear aggression

Question:

I own a year old male jack russell terrier. He is very sweet and not dominate at all. But, he will growl and bark at people he doesn't know or trust. He is really sensetive to eye contact. I was just wondering if you could give us any advice of how to work with this fear aggression problem. Thanks
