JRT recieved a concussion in a car accident

Last Thursday our JRT "Libby" a one year old female sustained a severe concussion as she was struck by an automobile. She came home from the hospital within 24 hours and the doctor who is highly respected said, "I think that she is going to be fine but it will take time". She is taking an anti-inflamitory medication. My question is when will she be vibrant and excited about ife again? She is very depressed and has only partial control of her faculties. I'm very upset that I can't do anything for her. Does anyone have any advise? Please help!!!
