| Question: : Do you really have to hit the JRT in order to become the boss of them and to make them listen to your directions? ------------------ Response Area ------------------- I don't know where you heard that or who you heard that from but that is the worst thing you can do not only to the JRT but any dog! Dogs will respond to a firm and loud NO! If you hit your dog, chances are it will try to defend itself by trying to bite you. At the very worst if you hit your dog hard enough you can injure your dog and I don't think that is your intention, Take your dog to a good obedience school and they will show you how to become a good, responsible owner. I can't say it more clearly DON'T EVER HIT YOUR DOG!! Marie | |||
