Hi Angelo,

There is a world of difference between the two breeds. JRT's were bred to go to ground and bolt fox, among other vermin.

The Rat Terrier was bred to do what it's name implies and that is to do ratting.

I would suggest doing an internet search for Rat Terriers so you can find out more information about them.
