nail grooming

I have only had the vet cut my dogs nails once. She was put under a year or so ago for another offense having to do with a fish hook. I wisely asked that hey while they had her down could they cut her nails too. That is the last time they were cut properly I'm sure. I can't see her sitting still for the vet but I might give it a shot. I will try a dremel because I have wanted one anyway so now I have a reason to get one. I can't see how you can so easily dismiss my theory about there being a memory connection between the nail clipper and her dew claw removal though. She really acts perfectly at all other times and goes completely aggressive the minute we start the nail grooming. Anyway thanks for the tips! T. Joyce
