: Hi- ------------------ Response Area ------------------- I had the exact same problem with one of my terriers. He would as we like to say at our house "loose his anal glands" on a pretty regular basis and just like your girl it would happen mostly when he was totally relaxed and on our laps! He is a rescue and according to the medical records that came with him there was a notation of an anal gland problem. I switched him over to a premium kibble, he was eating a brand found in supermarkets. Within a short period of time his anal gland leakage problem cleared up. If you have your girls on food from the supermarket I highly suggest making the switch to a premium kibble that you can find a pet specialty stores readily. Not only should it help to relieve the anal gland problem, but you will find that your dogs produce a smaller, firmer stool. You don't have to feed as much as the supermarket brands as the premium kibbles are more concentrated and contain no fillers. Please give this a try and see what happens. In the meantime make sure you have some Febreze handy! Regards, | |||
