Sometimes she gets so excited that she shakes, cries, growls and barks all while wagging her tail.It seems she might start convulsing. While I don't want her to be unfriendly, I want to teach her how to act around people. Is this behaviour normal and is it a good sign for when she gets older?The only time she is aggresive is when she thinks you want to play -she loves toes.

Hi Jennifer,

Your pup seems to be a perfectly normal puppy. This is what they do at this age. The whole world is a new and exciting, sometimes scary place.

When she gets out of control then let her have a time out in her crate or a gated off area. She will soon learn that jumping and acting goofy in front of people will only cause her to be left out of the fun.

This is also a very good time for you to start looking into a puppy class for her.
