Question:

: What is the best way to get your dog ready for the Races? I have a trial coming up in 2 weeks and it is both of our first race. What do I expect and how do I get him ready? I asume it is trial and error really? is this true?

Dear Sam,

Please visit the Terrier Trial page on this website; you will find plenty of information about racing.

Racing can be confusing for both owner and terrier -- everything happens very quickly and it's quite noisy! I suggest you let the racing coordinators know that this is your terrier's first time on the track and ask them to introduce you to someone who can help you.
