Question:

: My next neighbor's JRT had a litter just as we were shopping for one for my fourteen year old son. He wanted a dog that would be good for agility trials. I picked the pup that was sweet yet has plenty of the typical Jack Russell trates......Energy plus energy... fearlessness...speed....and smart. He's exactly what we were looking for in order to train him for agility trials. My question: I didn't realize until reading internet sites that it matters what club they belong to in order to enter these trials. My pup is a UKC pup. Please don't tell me that because he's not an AKC that we can't [once ready] enter him into the trials?

I am sorry but I can't answer this question. This is the Jack Russell Terrier Club of America web site and we have no knowledge of the AKC and their rules and regulations concerning registration.
Your best bet is to contact the AKC or the UKC and if you wish to register the puppy when it is of age, then you can contact the JRTCA
Here are some links to JRTCA registration and to the club office.
