JR Dashing out the front door or side gate

Hello, I have a 1yr old female JR named Chili. She is wonderful and gets plenty of exercize. She knows basic commands (sit, stay, roll over, etc), but consistently manages to dash through our legs to get out the front door in which she darts across the busy street and runs crazy. At first she would respond to my "take a break" command, where she would fly back into the house and run in her crate. That doesn't work any more. Also would respond to "go for a ride" and jump in the car, where I would proceed to drive her around the block, but that doesn't work now either. I thought of installing a type of invisible fence in our entrance foyer. I would appreciate any advice you can give.
