Question:

: I am Canadian. I bought my Jack -- a beautiful short hair, long legged fellow at a Pet Store that wouldn't reveal the breeeders name. I would like to join a JRT Club, but, can I without a papertrail of his pedigree?

Hi Andre,
Your membership in the JRTCA doesn't have a thing to do with your dog. You don't even have to own a JRT to be a member. It's the human's membership.
If you want to register your dog, you will have to have his lineage. If he is neutered, he can be recorded. A certificate of neuter will be submitted with his registration rather than a pedigree.
I am fairly certain the JRT Club of Canada also works the same way, but you'll have to check with them directly to be sure.
I'll link you below to registration and membership info.
Have fun!
Heather
