Question:

A question was asked about finding a new home for an "out of control" Jack Russell/Cocker Spaniel mix.

The reason this Q&A Forum exists is to provide guidance and support regarding ownership of this breed -- both before, and after, a terrier is purchased or adopted. If after applying the suggestions in this Forum, an owner decides that he/she is still unable to meet the demands of their dog, then it is the owner's responsibility to find a new home for their dog.

A safe place to advertise that you are "looking for a good home" for your pet is at your vet's office. You can get a reference from the vet about the potential owner and likewise, the potential owner can get information about your pet. As the owner, you are uniquely qualified to determine the best home for your pet because (A) you know the dog and (B) you know what type of household isn't suitable.

Good luck.
