: Here is the post but I think I misread it because I remember when we bought Chloe the breeder said that she cost less than the others because she was mostly white and the people that had contacted her about JRTs wanted the ones with more traditional markings. I liked her because she was different.

Hi Andrea,
Yes, I think you misread the post. Claudia said the post was scary because someone who is breeding Jack Russells should know that all-white is totally acceptable and shouldn't have to ask about it on a message board after the fact. She wasn't speaking against the color pattern itself.
I can't imagine why a breeder would price differently marked terriers at different prices, but I guess that is her decision. I've never heard of people doing that before. I've heard of different prices for females and males, different prices for show quality and pet quality, etc. I really wouldn't think too much into it though, and if you have questions about it, give your breeder a shout. I'm sure she'll be glad to help.
