I need help?? Please!!

Question:

My dog named rocky is being very aggresive around other people if they touch him our get to close to my mom. He thinks that she is his property and wont let any other dog touch her. He also has been growling at people and kind of attaking them but not really hurting them. I am scared it will get worse and the behavior specialist says that we need to show hm he can not do this by not letting him do anything without us telling him to and giving him lots of exercise. I am sure this happenes to lots of dogs and there has to be a special way of helping him. We do not want to lose him and i am very scared we are going to. If you know any special ways we can help our dog please tell us. Also if there is a person who knows alot about this problem and can help us a lot. PLEASE!!
