shadows

Our dog Mosi is 3 years old and he is really sweet most of the time, but he barks at everything. When ever we are in the bedroom, he goes under the bed and barks at the shadows. We can't make the bed with him in the room. When we vacuum he barks like crazy at the vacuum and tries to attack it. When my husband is outside mowing the lawn, Mosi is in the window barking the whole time.
He seems to bark for no reason at all. He will be lying with us on the couch and suddenly feel the need to get up and start barking like a nut at the tv. When we tell him no he doesn't listen at all. Nothing seems to help. Is it possible that our dog has obsessive compulsive disorder? Is there anything we can do to stop it. It is really driving us crazy.
We have a baby coming in a month and I am afraid that Mosi will bark at the baby crying, because it seems to be anything that makes a noise he doesn't understand.
Any advice?
