Hi, Julie,

You can't stop your terrier from shedding. I'm afraid Jacks shed, and it gets worse when the seasons change. Also, people who like to bathe their dogs a lot end up with even more shedding and dry skin. Stress can also add to the problem.

About all you can do is brush your terrier regularly and avoid baths.
