Small lump on his left side

Question:

Hi,

I just recently noticed a small lump on his left side, below his rib cage, it must've developed in the last few days because i've never noticed it before and plus he just saw the vet about 2 weeks ago and everything was fine...

Have you ever experienced something like this? I've scheduled another appointment to see the vet but it won't be for a few days, so i'm kinda worried about it.
