Question:

: My 11wk old puppy likes to chew on his covers in his crate and bed. Anything that I put in there for him to use to keep warm he chews on and digest it. He gets sick and throw up or it comes out in his bowels. This mornig he had a ball of yarn come up like a cats hair ball. How do I stop him from chewing on his covers? At lest he chews on his stuff and not mine.

Hi Christine,

Try spraying these items with some Bitter Apple, it can be found in most pet specialty stores.

Also when you catch him doing this, give him a firm "No" and offer him something that is an acceptible chew item.

Regards,
Marie
