New Vacuum Cleaner

Question:

First, a big THANKS for all your hard work! I am a regular reader and have found your site well organized and very helpful! Now my question (I used the search engine, but to no avail). I will have to buy a new vacuum cleaner for Skipper (to "kill")and was wondering (I know this is probably pretty silly, but here goes)if anyone can recommend a good vacuum cleaner. I have a Eureka but just doesn't seem to cut the mustard. Of course the salesmen all say the most expensive one "will take care of that dog hair". Any suggestions for a super jrt hair remover?
