: Thanks for the chuckle and I have a Oreck and a Electrolux and both are super and I have had them for going on 4 years and this is the longest any vacumn has lasted with me. I like the Oreck because it is light weight but NOTHING beats the cleaning as the Electrolux, and both are super on Dog hair, take it from an expert who blew up, cheaper vacumns at least once a year. BTW I have 5 smooth coats in the house right now, so I do know about hair!

: I got both of mine at QVC, yes I am adicted to that also, but the prices there are much less that what you can buy them in stores.
: Try going to www.qvc.com and doing a search for both brands and this way you can compare the prices before buying.

Hi Wade,

I got my Oreck at a local vacuum shop that sells used and new vacuums. It was factory re-conditioned and works great, and the price was about 1/2 of the cost of a new one. We just moved and now I also have a central vac and that does a super job, too. Especially around the edges and on the tile floors.
