Can you Teach an old dog new tricks?

Question:

Sorry, this is not about Jack Russel terriers.This is about my 11 year old dog.We got him a new bed for Christmas,but he continues to sleep in his old one(that he's had since he was a baby ,but as hard as a rock).Do you have any ideas to get him to sleep on the new one?
