: Sorry, this is not about Jack Russel terriers.This is about my 11 year old dog.We got him a new bed for Christmas,but he continues to sleep in his old one(that he's had since he was a baby ,but as hard as a rock).Do you have any ideas to get him to sleep on the new one?

Hi Alexandra,

I don't say dogs LOVE routine for no reason lol! Anyway I don't know what type beds you are talking about but what you might want to do is take the cover or something from the old bed and put it on/with the new bed and it looks like you will have to just remove the old bed in order for your dog to use the new one. If given the choice he's going to pick the one he's had all his life. It's a lot like having to finally throw out those old comfortable sneakers we all get accustomed to. We know they are falling apart, but we've broken them in SOOOO well!!
