| Question: On 12/22/01 we purshased a JTR (Sasha) from a breeder in south jersey. The breeder told us that she was fine and gave a health cert. on 12/26/o1 she becane ill. wet stools, we toook her right to our vet, he gave her a stronger womrer and said it could be Coxsidia. he gave us an atnibuiotic and special food and instructions that we followed to the letter. on 12/27 she became very ill (vomitting, very wet stools) we took her to the vet hospital, they said she was small for her size, and dehidrated from the vommiting ans wet stools, she was put on a IV drip to rehaidrate her, to make a lonng story short, while we were Sasha passed away today, We, my 14 Yrs son, are divestated. Saha was the warmest most lovable pup we ever had. My sons first. The breeder said that this was our fault because she was stressed and that's how she got the problem. I am a EMT instructor, my wife is an inteligent prfessional. We reseached the best dog for us and it was a JRT. We treated Sasha great. The Breeder. Don't get us wrong were good people and I am not trying to do anthing. The doctor at the hospital said she had to have had this prior to our purchase. The breeder is saying we caused it. The breeder is offing another pup, we are concerned. Please anything you can advise would be a godsend, did we kill our Sasha ? If you need more information please write.
