Question:

: My ten month old Jack Russell has an inguinal Hernia that pops out once in awhile. When she was a few months old Her vet told me that they would have to spay her when they fix the Hernia. I would like to breed her once, Is that possible to breed her or will it harm her and how would it harm her if i breed her?
: Thanks Titanya

Hi Titanya,
PLEASE Listen to your Vet, and inguinal hernia can really do some harm if your female is bred, and it could possibly kill her and I know that you don't want this. An inguinal hernia is also a genetic defect and she WILL pass this onto her puppies if she is breed.

Please, please listen to your Vet, I know you don't want to risk the life of your girl, but I would stongly suggest that you spay this girl and have her the hernia fixed at the same time.
Regards
Linda
