| Question: : Hey guys, I own a female Jack and I live in South Florida. As many of you know, we have a posionous toad down here that commonly kills Jack Russells. My dog has already had a near fatal run-in with these toads and I dont let her out on her own anymore. I am moving to New England this fall and am wondering if anyone from that area can give me any insite on local hazards. I would love to give her a yard to run and play but I am cautious because of what happened and we almost lost her for good from that toad. So thank you in advance. Good plan to research the flora and fauna of your new home! I suggest you contact the New England affiliate club or the state representative for information. These folks can also recommend local terrier-savvy vets and/or training classes. Affiliate Clubs, JRTCA State Representatives Leslie |
