Question:

: I have never cleaned my dog's face, apart from the occassional rinsing of body with water only. is it necessary to routinely clean the fur on the face as well? if so, please advice how to do it. I have just started to use a little ear cleaner to clean the fur behind the ears. what about the fur at the mouth area?

Hi Ping,

All you really need to do if you feel it's necessary is take a damp cloth and wipe you dog's face. Be careful with ear cleaning, too much can cause more problems than it solves. I have never had to clean my terrier's ears, as the old saying goes "if it ain't broken, don't fix it."

Regards,
Marie
